A Trip Down the Coast`
|
|
|
|
|
|
We went to our favorite beach-side destination to
see the new otter exhibit, and spend time marveling at God's
wonders. They have cute costumed greeters, a new foyer with
dedications to Dave and Lucile, major benefactors, the grinning
whale, and John Cleese now reads to you about water! |

It was a beautiful day, a little cold, but we still
went outside looking for otters, seals ... or pirates? Hmmm..... |

The jellies are always fascinating to watch as they
drift, float and fall all day long. Lovely ... but very hard
to photograph, so here are only a few. |

The kelp forest is always fun. There is usually a
diver collecting, feeding or just checking things out. Here was a
bait ball of fish as a shark swims by. |

Silly penguins |

|
Our favorite sea otters were there, and had a huge
audience much of the day, but there is a new group of young Asian
and African fresh-water otters who are playful and fun to watch too! |

|
We lunched at
Bubba Gumps,
where his words
of wisdom are
painted on the
rafters in the
patio where we
dined. This one
fit Ana to a T. |

Shopping is always fun. Joyce saw these
adorable diver dolls, and as we walked by another shop, she saw a
giant burned match ... how bizarre!! This chef dolphin adorned
another shop window. |

The fresh water
fish look like
something out
of a movie! |
|
In the outer bay, there were great white sharks, and
this time they had two sunfish! Awesome to watch. |
|
Touching things
in the touch
pools is always
fun. |
