Join us as we travel to Disneyland

For Mother's Day, Joyce took her mom to Disneyland (wink-wink!), where they are celebrating 45 Years of Disney Magic. When you first get into the parking lot you are met with the sight of the new California Adventure theme park being constructed before you (above).

In the park, there are decorations everywhere that continually remind you of the year-long celebration. Here's Joyce standing in front of the banner at Sleeping Beauty's castle.

On a walk through the stores on Main Street USA you will find lots of cool stuff. Mickey is also there to greet you, even if he does seem a little stiff! This wooden statue is in the Disneyana Store (I like the name: Disney-Ana!!)

We were actually here at Disneyland to celebrate two special events. Not only is it Mother's Day, but Joyce will be graduating from Elementary School into Junior High School in one month. This trip was her graduation present. And here's Mickey congratulating Joyce!
