After a quick trip back to the hotel room for a swim and a nap, we went to the Spaghetti Station for dinner.

We got back to the park just in time to watch the parade. Some of the characters they had in the parade were two of our favorites. First there was the swan float that the Disney Princesses rode on. That's Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White that you see. Then they had some characters from the new Fantasia 2000 movie, and those would be dancing flamingos below.

Then it was time for the fireworks!!

Thanks to Priceline.com we had another adventure after we left Disneyland. Our really cheap airline tickets took us through Las Vegas, at which point we found our flight home cancelled, and we had to go down to Phoenix to get back UP to San Jose. We left LA at 9:00 am and got home at 6:00 pm. But Joyce enjoyed the adventure, and the shopping at all the airport shops! Here was our view of The Strip in Las Vegas from the airport window.

Despite the layover, it was an Excellent Adventure!
