APRIL

We flew to Texas for Spring Break. Check out all the fun things we did while we were there.

 

MAY

In mid-May, we had a new arrival in our extended family. This is Channah, who was named after Chanah (Ana). And coincidentally, Channah's birth stats are the very same as Chanah's were 44-1/2 years ago ... 6 lbs, 14 oz.; 19 inches. Here she is about 6-1/2 hours old.

  Another fun thing that started in May was Ana performing at the nearby melodrama theater. She not only performs as "Ma" in the melo, she sings and dances in the vaudeville follies show too.  Here are some thumbnails that someone took from the audience. Ana isn't in the picture on the right, but wears a red dress and blond wig like the other gals. Below, Ana is raising her hands in surprise as Maddi spins carrying Keleko. JUNE

Joyce and Ana worked spotlights for SDG's production of Pajama Game. This was Ana's first time manning spot, Joyce's second.  They had a blast, and it was fun getting to know a different theatre troupe.

The gals got the opportunity to go to the local comedy shop downtown, and see the legendary Kevin Pollak. He's just as funny as he was 30 years ago when Ana first saw him at the high school they both attended. The girls laughed so hard, they had to check their makeup for cry-lines. Afterward, they went out to the lobby and met him, got his autograph, and this snapshot.
